In this workshop, you will learn:
-- How to eat what you want when you want it -- How to listen to your body for cues of hunger and satiety -- How to respond to yourself when you are not hungry and want food -- How to be kind and loving to yourself -- How to manage your emotions when you feel overwhelmed
We will use discussion, exercises, visualizations, movement, drawing and inner dialogue.
Many of us eat when we are not hungry because we are not feeling fulfilled in our lives. Many of us eat when we are not hungry because eating is the only time we make just for US. We eat emotionally when we do not make time to meet our needs, to follow our passions, to nurture our dreams...
In this interactive day-long workshop, you will explore what brings you joy, what passions you have, what you are missing in your life. We will play and explore and reflect and discover.
You will:
(1) Identify what is missing in your life (2) Identify what gives you joy (3) Identify your passions, some of which you may have left behind in childhood (4) Learn how to manifest your dreams (5) Learn how to shift your beliefs that you cannot have what you want (6) Create a plan for integrating your passions into your life
